The little black dress

The little black dress for me is not simply an item of clothing, is a concept. It's abstract, timeless, universal and one of my truly essential in my wardrobe. There isn't nothing more versatile, simple, classic and sexy than a little black dress. I usually prefer a pencil fit, with a short length, just on my knees. Mine is from Alexander Wang and I wore it yesterday night  with my Gianvito Rossi black suede heels: the perfect match.

The oversize coat

This Isabel Marant oversize coat is what I literally live in except when it's too cold outside. It's a mere simple, understated coat, with subtle and masculine details. My figure slithers naturally into it. Every time I put my coat on I feel like I am falling in love all over again, as though an infatuation is being relighted. This jacket imparts a perpetually effortless, off-the-cuff sophistication to my style. No words could possibly convey my fondness for it and it's just perfect with my Acne jeans and new Jimmy Choo suede boots.

Le bleu et le noir

I am somewhat happy that I have quite an expensive taste so that it takes me a long time to save up for a special item, and as time goes by I might get cold feet or change my mind as the saving process gives me plenty of thinking time. This way I’m sure I’m making the right choice. That was the case of my Louis Vuitton Sofia Coppola bag that I have bought the last September after craving it for years. It's classic, simply designed and versatile. Yesterday I wore it with my favorite color combination: navy blue and black. I never get tired of them, and according to Yves Saint Laurent, this is the chicest color combination of ever.

Ne dis rien

As you might have noticed I am quite inspired by French style, by the importance of being well dressed for every occasion, by the "bon chic bon genre" code that my mum and my aunt taught me when I was a kid. I embrace simplicity and I am obsessed with finding the perfect garments. Some people may think that this approach to fashion is boring and not a new but I find more adventurous to build the perfect wardrobe with fews good quality essentials pieces and do whatever I am doing without lacking in style basis. This outfit is an example of what I have just said.

Coco Mademoiselle

Personally I find more suitable be "one scent girl" rather than have a perfumery with several options in my cabinet. Since I was 15 years old I use Coco Mademoiselle eau de perfume and for me it's the perfect fragrance. It smells mostly jasmine and rose, with a little bit of orange and it's fresh and not too sweat. I feel comfortable, feminine and really confident wearing it and it highlights who truly I am.
