The trench coat

Nothing works well in the begging of fall like a trench coat. It's a timeless classic that goes with everything and that worth invest in. I bought my Burberry trench coat last year after have saved money for months and since that I have worn it so many times I can't even count. It's one of the best investment I have ever done. I wore it yesterday with jeans and suede boots to go around Marais. After my usual breakfast made of croissant and cappuccino, I strolled around the neighborhood until I reached the Centre Pompidou where I spent the rest of the day studying and enjoying the modern and contemporary collection of the museum.

It's been a while

Saint Germain is absolutely my favorite area in Paris; it's located in the 6th arrondissement in the hear of Paris's Rive Gauche and it's considered to be the quintessential parisian neighborhood. It's full of charming streets, lined with quaint shops, patisseries, cafés, making the area a paradise for food lovers, shoppers and coffees drinker as I am. I especially love spending my time at the literary Café de Flore, have breakfast with a croissant and cappuccino, and then go to Jardin du Luxembourg to have a rest reading a book and observing people. It's really peaceful. That's what I have done yesterday in order to enjoy a beautiful sunny day and I opted for a total black outfit because it's the most elegant and sophisticated color. Beside as Parisian woman always said "le noir, c'est simple, c'est bien".

Tant de belles choses

Today, after I have spent all the morning studying, I have met a friend for lunch at Chez Julienne, one of my favorite french restaurant here in Paris. The food is wonderful and the atmosphere is lovely. After that I went to do a stroll around Village Saint Paul, in Marais, that has the distinction of being considered one of the major antique villages of Paris. It is charmingly removed from the local hustle and bustle but resolute in the center of it all, with large old trees and copious vines providing plenty of greenery and a collection of interesting little curious shops and antique stores. I was wearing a really comfortable outfit composed by skinny jeans, flats and a grey sweatshirt that I bought two days ago at Isabel Marant. It's the perfect piece for this season, it's warm, stylish and simple and goes with everything.

Je suis a Paris

Bonjour! I am actually in Paris and I am going to stay here at my family house for the next two months to do some studies and researches on my final thesis at university that regards Hector Guimard and Art Nouveau. I think I will spend the most part of my days at Biblioteque Historique in Marais but I will also find the time to visit my favorite museums (Musée d’Orsay, Louvre and Musée de l’Orangerie), shop at Isabel Marant and A.P.C, drink coffees at Café Le Flore, walk along the quay night and day, wine and dine, fall asleep to the sound of evening rain.
