Leaves

Yesterday I was in Lucca, a charming roman town here in Tuscany, to enjoy the beautiful sunny day walking on ancient walls that encircle the city. Originally built by the Romans, they were later enlarged and fortified with great mounds of earth in the 1500’s to fend off attacks by the Medicis of Florence. The walls never saw battle and were demilitarized by Napoleon. In the 18th century Louisa Bourbon, with the help of her royal architect, turned the walls into magnificent tree lined boulevard. Today it is a playground for the lucchesi and a perfect place to go for a jog, walk a dog, pedal a bike and also have some relax sitting on a park bench. Regard my outfit I was wearing one of my favorite Isabel Marant blouse that I bought some years ago and that I still wear regularly: I love the cream flower print on the navy background, that in this case perfectly matches with the Acne row jeans and espadrilles.

Bridge of sights

Back from New York I am now in Florence where I am going to live for the next year in oder to attend the School of Specialization in Architectural Heritage and Landscape. I am really satisfied about this choice regards my life because I always wanted to study in deep these subjects to improve my skills for my future career. Beside Florence is one of the city that I love most in Italy,it perspires art from every corner and it’s also really close to my family. This morning I have done some errands around the centre, crossing Ponte delle Grazie, to buy some nice things to decor the flat that I have just rent. I wore a white blouse with a boho vibe with jeans and flats.: I took inspiration from Jane Birkin and her 60’s and 70’s effortless cool style. She spices beautiful classics in a sassy way, is super sexy but never tacky and both boyish and ultra-feminine, being alway simply perfect.

Dicker boots

Ever since I purchased the Isabel Marant Dicker boots in Paris some years ago in the taupe color, I have always wore them with basically everything, unless it rains. They are versatile, walkable and chic at the same time and I consider them as my wardrobe essentials. The Isabel Marant boots define my style, making my outfits less predictable and more french.
